The Wife

Mandy is the younger, prettier, and smarter of the two. She’s a wife, mother of three, sister, twin and daughter. She’s an Arizona girl all the way, having been born and raised in and around Phoenix. That was at least until Zac convinced her to give gypsy life a shot.

More than that, Mandy is a rock. Her sheer toughness has guided and held her family together through unimaginable circumstances. Yet, if there’s a gentler soul on the planet, you would do well to find it. It’s rare to find someone that genuinely shares in the experience of her friends and family. If you’re happy, she is completely happy with you and for you. If you’re down, she shares your pain but at the same time she tries to bring you back up.

Zac’s strength and faith could only be surpassed by Mandy’s. Through numerous struggles, she has maintained her composure and has even shined through them. Zac would not be able to fight his battle with cancer were it not for Mandy’s support.

She’s the eternal optimist, always seeing the best in each situation which shows the wisdom she possesses that is belied by her age.

The Kids

Lizzy is very precocious and quite possibly the perfect embodiment of a Zac and Mandy combo. She has her mother’s gentle soul and beauty, her father’s charm and curiosity. She loves her little brothers (even though they are boys) but that doesn’t stop her from using her advanced experience to ensure she comes out on top of a board game.

Jake’s outward personality tends to be most similar to his mother’s. He has a quiet, tender nature about him. It’s odd to see a child of his age actually think about what he says before he says it. That should also tell you how considerate he is of others. He’s protective of his brother and sister though he’s the middle child.

Luke is a comedian through and through but he may not even realize it yet, that’s the Zac in him without question. Nobody really knows where he got his size from, but if the NFL drafted kids in elementary school he’d definitely go in the first two rounds. He’s got the imagination every child should have. If you spend any time around him, you’ll no doubt be left in stitches. After all, “…good news is he’s getting his kids a dog, bad news is he’s not having kids…”
